The Unitarian Universalist Association’s General Assembly is just over a month away, from June 18-22. This year it is taking place in Baltimore, Maryland, and also online.
I have loved General Assembly since the first time I attended, in 2001, and in fact that is where I first experienced a clear call to the ministry. I loved singing our familiar hymns in a room with thousands of UUs instead of dozens; experiencing powerful worship services each day; great workshops; social justice engagement, and more.
I will be attending in person next month, serving as a delegate for UUFM—and we have two other delegates slots available for members! You can be a delegate either in person or online. This is a great opportunity to participate in the democratic process in our denomination—and to connect with the wider UU community.
Here is the main UUA page about General Assembly, with links to lots of information: https://www.uua.org/ga
If you are interested in considering serving as a delegate, let’s chat about it!
In gratitude,
Rev. Diana
