As many of you learned from Jon Peterson’s announcement in worship on Sunday, I will be ending my time as your minister at the end of July, as UUFM shifts away from a full-time minister position.

I appreciate the kind words from Jon and many others of you about that transition, and want to make sure everyone knows a few things about my last couple of months with you.

First, I am your minister right up until my last day, even when I am out of town for General Assembly or study leave, as I will be later this month. Please continue to reach out to me if you need anything, or just want to chat. It’s not time for good-bye yet!

Second, as Jon mentioned, part of my job this summer is to help ensure that UUFM has as smooth and healthy a transition as possible. I will be working with the Board and various other groups to support that process. What the details look like will evolve as the Board gains clarity about what comes next.

Please know that I love being your minister, and that I want the very best for each of you, and for UUFM, as we move into (and then through) this liminal time of transition.
