As we near the end of my time as your minister, I want to take today’s column to say thank you. These words can never capture the extent of my gratitude to you and for you, but I’m going to try anyway!

Thank you for the way you shared the ministry of this congregation with me over the last two years. You welcomed and trusted me from the start and that has allowed us to do powerful ministry together.

Thank you for seeing me—and all of the UUFM staff—as whole people and being a great employer to us all. You are part of why UUFM has such an incredible staff team.

Thank you for the way you live out our shared Unitarian Universalist values within and beyond the walls of this congregation. You show the world what our faith is about, every day.

Thank you for all the ways you embody Love in the world, when the world so sorely needs more love. I am deeply inspired by you, and have equally deep faith in you.

Thank you for being the kind, generous people you are. In ways small and large, you have truly made it a delight to be your minister.
