The World Is Not Finished: Radical Queerness & The UU Tradition

Rather than centering Pride as a set of images, slogans, or gestures. This program examines how queer history is flattened for consumption by post-modern institutions that were never built with queer survival in mind. We explore the idea that we must turn toward liberation as an ongoing practice and pursuit.

Through connections between queer history, the legacy of ACT UP, and the Unitarian Universalist commitment to a free and responsible search for truth and meaning, this talk explores how inherited systems can be examined, challenged, and remade.
