The purpose of the Buildings and Grounds Committee is to take care of the buildings and grounds to make sure they are safe, clean and operational.
The work of the committee includes overseeing:
- mowing
- snow removal
- cleaning
- heating and cooling
- parsonage management
- maintenance inside and outside of the buildings
- landscaping and weeding
- painting
- building and technical repairs as well as upgrading / remodeling plans
- lighting
- humidity control
- technical issues and updates
Building and Grounds coordinates with the Education and Justice Committee and the Finance Committee.
