This past Saturday, I had the opportunity to guide a yoga practice for my first time at a place that holds many memories and connections, the Living Earth Center Community Garden on Good Counsel Hill. It is a place I sense belonging, not only among the community of great humans who spend time there, but among a whole ecosystem, the nearby forest, the mycelium, the pollinators, and even the creatures those who garden think of as pests.
In these times we are living in, when there are increasing challenges we are facing environmentally, I do my best not to take this sense for granted and I give thanks for all of the ways the Earth loves us back.

I will be away this coming weekend, continuing to carve out time to commune with the Earth but look forward to being with our congregation again next week!
