Though we have not formally organized, many of us feel called to participate in protests to affirm our values and counter those who spread hatred and divisiveness. Together we act for justice. The following members of our congregation participated in the  “Count Every Vote” Rally organized by Indivisible/St. Peter Greater Mankato on November 4, 2020:  Rev. Rita and Jeff Lowry, Sean Easton, Bob and Gail Finley, Penny Herickhoff, Tricia Nienow, and Sue Wiltgen.

The following members of our congregation participated in the  All Women’s March and Rally on October 17th from 1-3pm in solidarity with the national Women’s March movement:  Rev. Rita, Cindy Backman, Nancy Blethen, Diane Dobitz, Keri Johnson, Jeni Kolstad, Kylie and Peter Kuhlman with Calvin and Sylvie, Cheiron McMahill with her daughter, Sandra Walberg, Kathyrn Vonderharr, Amy Lennartson,  Katy Hemberger, and Lara Fletcher.

The following members of our congregation participated in the SCMN Pride March and Rally in support of Black and Brown LGBTQIA+ and Trans Lives on September 7: Miranda Andrews, with Simon and Arlo; Rev. Rita and Jeff Lowry; Diane Dobitz and Jean Lovett; Deb Fitzloff; Penny Herickhoff;  John and Karen Knox; Cheiron McMahill with Leticia; DeeAnn and Tom Nelson; Andy Roberts and Sarah Sifers; Terri Roth; Patti Ruskey; and Chris (Linda) Solyntjes.
