“ How you imagine the world, determines how you live in it” – David Suzuki, scientist, author, broadcaster, climate activist

Book summary:  Lots of people seem to care about climate change, want to do more, but often don’t know where to start. This book shares the authors hard look at their fails and wins around lifestyle shifts for a healthier planet in an absorbable way, and suggests steps for making positive change.

Like most of us, the authors’ understanding of what is happening to the plant and the motivation to take meaningful action has grown in fits and starts. This book grew out of the authors discussions with each other and their experiences. These American and Canadian women own a regenerative farm and bookselling business and are a mother and grandmother who want to make things better for the future.

The purpose of the book is to inspire, support and make it easy to replace “old planet hurting habits with new and healthy ones.” No one has intentionally set out to live a life harmful to our planet. The harmful impact of our society has grown as we became more dependent on fossil fuels. Becoming an environmentally thoughtful and engaged person is a journey.

Join us as we help each other on this journey as individuals and a congregation.
