As we begin my last month at UUFM, my focus is on making this transition as smooth and healthy as possible. That means several things:

• At the Board’s request, I am lining up guest preachers for at least August through December to ease the burden on the Worship Team.
• I am responding to concerns about how pastoral care will be handled, and will be in discussion with the Board about that.
• I am wrapping up annual tasks like staff evaluations.
• I am still available to meet with any of you, either if you have a specific topic to discuss, or if you just want to chat.

If you have questions about the transition, please don’t hesitate to ask me or a board member. I realize that a lot of what we are doing is not visible to folks who are not directly involved, but I want to assure you that we are all focused on the health of the congregation in this time of change.
