Bread is a staple of life, and it would not exist without fire—fire created by natural processes, and fire created by passion and effort. By breaking bread together, we celebrate the passion and the effort of our Fellowship to create more compassion and more justice in this world
Bring your bread—the bread of your childhood, the bread of your family, the bread you love, bring all that bread to worship. The Choir will add to the celebration, and there will be age-appropriate activities for the children. Coins collected during the offering will be used by the children and youth for the social justice efforts of their discernment. A luncheon of soup (and bread, of course!) follows afterward in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome.
