Guest Speaker from COPAL ~ How we can be involved and support our community.

From our Shared UU Values “Equity. We declare that every person is inherently worthy and has the right to flourish with dignity, love and compassion. We covenant to use our time, wisdom, attention, and money to build and sustain fully accessible and inclusive communities.”

Our guest speaker, David Mesta from Copal and Immigrant Defense Network will be here to speak on how to continue our efforts to be involved as neighbors to all in our community, understanding the obstacles people face to live full quality of life as we welcome newcomers from other places and cultures, the strengths and vital contributions diversity and inclusion brings as well as the forever need to work for equity would be important messages that you can encourage and challenge us to grow in as individuals and as a religious community.
