Joy as Resistance, Resistance as Joy

We will kick off this month’s theme of Joy with an exploration of joy as a form of resistance, including in the Jewish holiday of Passover, which begins at sundown on April 12. This interactive, multigenerational service will include special guest Marian Broida, a retired college professor of Jewish and biblical studies and member of the local Indivisible leadership team.l

Marian Broida holds a master’s in Jewish Studies and PhD in Hebrew Bible from Emory University, is a retired college professor, and works to promote social justice and inter-religious understanding. She will also stay to host a table talk about Indivisible during coffee hour after worship.

Join us after the service in-person hospitality downstairs in the Fellowship hall.  The Nursery is available for those who need wiggle room.
