This week, I share a story called Everything Changes and That’s Okay, and it has me considering the truth of that title – so little is guaranteed. For some, recognizing that fact may produce difficult feelings or perhaps some anxious thoughts. For others, it might bring more of a sense of peace or neutrality. I believe most have experienced both reactions.

It reminds me when I am experiencing something lovely and joyful, to take it in fully. It also reminds me when I am enduring something painful, that it won’t last forever.

I love that this book normalizes the many emotions that come with change. It recognizes the losses, gains, joy, and sorrow of life’s cyclical nature.

My wish for you today is that you allow yourself to experience and accept all of life’s changes fully.

Nursery care
We now plan to have the nursery open every Sunday during worship and during some of our Wednesday night activities. Ireland and Korinne are scheduled to be present this week.

 

Children’s Faith Development

Children’s Chapel is held every Sunday from 10:45-11:30am, including the first Sundays of the month. I look forward to co-facilitating this week’s session with Nancy C.

 

Youth Group
Youth group also meets on Sunday, from 10:45-11:30am, with Lee and Cathi. This will consist of a check-in, as well as a reflection and just-for-fun activity.
