“Pluralism in Education”

Guest speaker, Tracy Frederick-Corcoran is a dedicated, student-centered, passionate educational leader committed to closing the expectation, opportunity, and achievement gap for all students by developing, implementing, and sustaining innovative educational systems that provide equitable opportunities and remove barriers in order for all students to reach their full potential and develop the skills necessary for success in college, career, and life. She is a part of the Greater Mankato Diversity Council with 15 years of experience in education as a teacher, instructional coach, and curriculum leader. She believes that our differences make us stronger and that together we can continue to build a community that celebrates and embraces the beautiful diversity around us. Tracy was born and raised in Mankato. She is a graduate of Mankato Area Public Schools and holds multiple degrees from Minnesota State University – Mankato. She is excited to support the programs GMDC offers our schools, businesses, and communities.
