I wrote this prayer from my heart on Sunday evening after getting to gather in a sacred way at a farm with some of my dearest friends. I hope it resonates with yours:
I give thanks for how well-nurtured I am by this Earth and for the intuitive, cyclical guidance I sense from the moon and the seasons. What a gift it is to be aware and compassionate, and to know that to be human is to feel. Let that knowing move us in good ways.
May we practice stillness for our hearts’ prayers to be clearly sensed and allow the ones we vocalize to be articulate, clear, resonant, and needed. No matter what faith traditions we have held, help us remember that those prayers can be universal and serve as a compass, guiding us back to our path. When we feel afraid to express vulnerability, guide us back to the wisdom that tells us what a gift it is to love one another. Help our most full expressions of love live and grow. Make our desires to be clear, healing, authentic, joyous, and radiant forces in the world be exponentially stronger than the temptation to remain comfortable in what is stagnant and familiar.
Help us to know and trust in the abundance we receive so that we may give freely. Instead of being hardened and afraid of all of this world’s inequities, atrocities, and injustices, help uplift us and keep us showing up with additional tenderness, compassion, reverence, and awe for the wider perspectives, collective magic, and incredible resilience that still exists. Liberate us from comparison and lead us toward inspiration. Make our sense of inherent worth strong and steady. Guide us toward connection and purpose in thriving, beloved community. Upcoming Events:
