As many of you already know, it was announced during Sunday’s annual congregational meeting that I will be continuing as your minister for a second year, and that when that second year begins in early August, my position will change from 3/4-time to full-time. I am so delighted to be continuing our shared ministry!
The two most obvious effects of the change to full time will be that I will be preaching most Sundays, and that I will not have “off duty” weeks as I do now, so I will be in my office for in-person meetings at least one weekday every week except for when I am on vacation or study leave.
In addition to those big changes, I’ll be able to give more time to other parts of congregational life. I’m in conversation with the Board, committees, and staff team about possibilities, and am also keeping in mind hopes some of you have shared with me. I don’t have detailed plans yet, but will keep you updated.
Thank you all for being such a healthy, engaged congregation, which makes it a joy to be continuing in ministry with you!
In gratitude and celebration,
Rev. Diana
