Be A Full Bucket

April is National Poetry Month, begun in 1996. Over the years, it has become the largest literary celebration in the world with schools, publishers, libraries, booksellers, and poets celebrating poetry’s vital place in our culture.  April is also the start of our new monthly theme “Wholeness”.    We will explore what our poets have written and share the wholeness of their words.

“Some nights stay up till dawn,
as the moon sometimes does for the sun.
Be a full bucket pulled up the dark way
of a well, then lifted out into light” -Rumi
