Practice Resurrection

The ancient story of Easter still speaks to us today — new beginnings emerge with fresh possibilities, even in those moments when it seems that all is tragically lost. As Unitarian Universalists, how do we honor the wondrous power of resurrection and renewal in our lives and in our world? How do we answer the call of hope and transformation?

Rev. Lisa Friedman currently serves as the Minister of Congregational & Community Engagement at Unity Church-Unitarian in St. Paul and as the history/theology faculty at the Midwest UU Leadership School. She served the UUFM from 2004-2012, as has also served congregations in Michigan, Illinois, and New York. She lives with her husband, Wayne Schneider, and sons Ben & Sam in Northeast Minneapolis, where they keep busy with music, theater, and plenty of baseball.
