This summer, I began the coursework for a Doctor of Ministry degree in Creative Writing and Public Theology. The Creative Writing part is pretty straightforward, but the term “public theology” often leaves people wondering what exactly that is, and who does it. (Hint: it’s not just ministers and other theologians!) Let’s explore how we at UUFN already engage in public theology, and how we might do more of that together, sharing messages our world sorely needs.
