Solstice Celebration

On Monday, December 21 (5:00-6:00p) we celebrate Solstice with a drive through event showcasing our Fellowship building and grounds with pinpoints of light. Solstice provides its great gift of darkness—when we pause, rest, and reflect. The dark is not something to escape away from into the light. It is a time with its own power and opportunities. On this day of the longest night, we pause to allow ourselves to learn from what is in the shadows, from what is not so easy to perceive.

After stopping by the Fellowship, make a tour of other communities also lighting luminaria (St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 632 South Broad Street, and First Presbyterian Church, 220 E. Hickory Street). Without the Kiwanis lights in Sibley park this year, tour the many neighborhood displays, including in West Mankato, and Upper North Mankato.
