We Have a Ministerial Candidate!!

Dr Rita Cappezzi

It is with great pleasure that the Ministerial Search Committee introduces our Ministerial Candidate!!

Dr. Rita Capezzi is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo, NY and is serving in her second year as the Interim Intern Minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Canandaigua, NY.
She has entered into Preliminary Fellowship with the UUA  and will graduate from Meadville Lombard Theological School in May of 2018. On June 10 at 4:00 pm Eastern, Rita will be co-ordained in Buffalo by both her home and her internship congregations.
Dr. Capezzi grew up and lived in Pittsburgh, PA. In 1994, she accepted an academic position in the English Department of Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. , where she taught and administrated until her decision to pursue ministry in 2015.

Rita and her husband have two grown children  Rita enjoys reading, hiking, weight training, international travel, as well as dystopic TV and films.

Dr Capezzi will be visiting Mankato the last week of April. She will preach on both April 22 and April 29. Watch for a number of other opportunities to meet and talk with Rita during that week-long visit.

Note: On April 29 the congregation will vote on the confirmation of her ministry directly after the service.
