It is the mission of the Worship Committee to collaborate with the minister, other professional staff, and the congregation to support trans-formative worship which connects to the sacred, creates community, fosters faith development and inspires action in keeping with our Principles and Sources.

Music Responsibilities:

• Subcommittee chooses hymns with the minister
• Plan special music, apart from hymns, for some services, including updating a list of known congregants and others available to provide music through their voices and/or instrument
• Seek to provide music requested by the congregation

Sunday Worship Service Responsibilities:

• Arrange storytellers and Worship Associates
• Opening and sustaining dialogue with the congregation on matters of worship
• Planning and presenting at least one lay service a month
• Sending out Sunday speaker letters for visiting speakers as needed
