My wife, Melinda Kjarum, and myself joined the UUFM in 2017. We had been attending services for several years prior, and after bouncing around over the years among various other churches finally felt we had found a “home”.

I believe people come to their own spiritual path in many different ways. It is the diversity of these approaches which leads to the richness and texture I have seen as part of the UU experience. It is this emphasis on acceptance and belonging that I wish to help maintain within the UUFM and work to bring this attitude to the wider community.

I grew up in the Mankato area and have lived here most of my life. I look forward to helping to contribute to the success of the UUFM and the community we are part of.
